This policy explains what personal data SEO Backlinks collects, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the SEO Backlinks app for Android and iOS, our main website at www.seobacklinks.app, the Network Websites, and our account pages.
Google Play and the Apple App Store deliver the app to your phone under their own privacy policies; once the app is installed, your account and posts are handled only by our own servers as described here.
1. Who is responsible
SEO Backlinks is operated by SEO Services IT ("we", "us"), which is responsible for your personal data (the "data controller"). Contact us about privacy at support@seobacklinks.app.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
- Account: email address, display name, and a password only if you created one (stored only in encrypted, hashed form).
- Sign-in with another account: when you sign in with a service shown in the app (Google, X, Facebook, Microsoft or another listed provider), that service sends us your account ID there, your name, your email address (if the service shares it) and whether it is verified, and a link to your profile picture. We use this only to create your account, sign you in and keep it secure. We never receive your password for that service or access to anything else in that account.
- Posts: the titles, text, links, categories, tags and optional logos you submit, drafts you save to your account, and their publication history.
- Reports and messages: details you include when you report a post or contact us, and an email address if you choose to give one.
Information created when you use SEO Backlinks
- Sign-in and security: the device name you sign in from, sign-in times, and technical security logs (such as IP address) used to prevent abuse.
- Settings: your email notification choices and the terms version you accepted.
What we do not collect
- We do not sell your personal data.
- Public Network Websites set no cookies and do not track readers for advertising.
- We do not use your posts to train AI models.
3. Why we use your data, and our legal bases
- To run your account and publish your posts — necessary to provide the service you asked for (contract).
- To review posts, handle reports, prevent spam, fraud and abuse, and keep the service secure — our legitimate interests in a safe, trustworthy network.
- To send service emails (verification, password reset, decisions about your posts) — contract and legitimate interests. We do not send marketing emails without your consent.
- To comply with the law and respond to lawful requests — legal obligation.
4. What is public
Only your display name and your published posts (with their publication dates and links) are public on the Network Website you chose. Your email address is never shown publicly.
5. Who we share data with
We use trusted service providers who process data for us under contract and only on our instructions:
- hosting and server provider: Hostinger International Ltd (virtual server in a data centre in Mumbai, India). Our database, files and encrypted backups are stored on this server;
- email: service emails are sent by our own mail server on that same server; no separate email company receives your data;
- the sign-in service you choose (for example Google or X) receives only what is needed to sign you in, under its own privacy policy.
- We may disclose information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety, or in connection with a sale or reorganisation of our business (with the same protections). We do not share your data with advertisers.
6. International transfers
Your data is stored in India (see section 5). If you use SEO Backlinks from another country, your data is transferred to India. We protect it the same way wherever you are: encryption in transit (HTTPS), encrypted backups, and access limited to staff who need it. Where the law of your country requires a specific transfer safeguard, we rely on the safeguards that law allows, such as the transfer being necessary to provide the service you asked for.
7. How long we keep data
- Account data: while your account exists.
- Deleted accounts: published posts are removed immediately; personal data is erased within 7 days. We keep only a minimal deletion record (a one-way scrambled version of your email address) so we can prove the deletion happened.
- Security logs: up to 30 days.
- Encrypted backups: replaced on a rolling basis and kept for at most 35 days. If a backup is ever restored, deletions are applied again before the service reopens.
- Reports: as long as needed to handle them and protect the service.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, object to or restrict certain uses, and withdraw consent. You can do many of these yourself in the app (change your display name, sign out of devices, delete your account). For anything else, email support@seobacklinks.app. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Children
SEO Backlinks is only for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
We protect data with encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, encrypted backups, access limited to staff who need it, two-step verification for all staff, and audit logs of sensitive actions. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
11. Cookies and similar technology
Public Network Websites and our main website www.seobacklinks.app set no cookies. The SEO Backlinks app stores your sign-in token securely on your device. Our staff-only admin area uses a strictly necessary session cookie. See the cookie notice for details.
12. Changes to this policy
We will publish any update here with a new date, and tell you in the app if the change is significant.
